How we collect personal data –

We collect personal data when you download a trial, install or purchase a licence for eFiler, eFiler+ or eFiler365 (collectively referred to as eFiler). Additional data may be recorded when you interact with us for support or make an enquiry from our website.

What data we may collect –

Full Name and Job Title

Contact information including phone number and email address

Demographic information such as your address and postcode

Other information based on what you have told us

Payment information & Order history

Lawful processing of information relevant to fulfil the support, installation and use of eFiler

By installing our desktop software (efiler, eFiler+) we will process your IP address, computer name, domain name and relevant hardware ID’s in order to facilitate licence management. Under no circumstances do we transmit any email content unless you have requested support. All emails filed using eFiler are saved onto your own storage or third-party cloud platforms which may be subject to their own privacy policies and terms and conditions.

By installing our web addin and registering for eFiler365 you will create an account with us where you can authorise eFiler365 to interact with your mailbox and authenticated storage locations. Emails are processed and saved to authorised storage locations only. We do not store any email content on our servers.

What we do with the information we gather –

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

Internal record keeping and to deliver the features and functionality provided for within eFiler.

We may use the information to improve our products and services.

We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.

From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email or phone. We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

Our website and how we use cookies –

Please understand that if you ask us to delete data this may impact your ability to make use of your licence & you may no longer be able to use the software or request support.

 

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required to for legal reasons. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen. We may share limited data with companies acting on our behalf, subject to the same provisions of this agreement.
