eFiler v.4.3 sees the introduction of the option to save your emails in either .eml or .msg file formats. While .msg is native to Outlook and has always been the go to for eFiler we can see the benefits of .eml which can also be opened and returned to Outlook without any 3rd party tools. eFiler+ subscription users can now switch to .eml if they prefer.
.eml files can also be easily previewed in Google chome or even in Windows Explorer once you have applied a small registry change.
What happens if I want to switch formats? No problem - eFiler+ search will provide results from both .msg and .eml files so there is no need to convert previously saved .msg files.
